Most days, Fiona works as a Respiratory Therapist; on her days off, she’s busy curating ideas for cool things she can make. After realising she lost her passion for the arts while she was engulfed with studies in RT school and simultaneously overcoming devastating personal losses, she decided she wanted to pick up her childhood hobby again - creating.

Sarcastic Shrug Society is a brand that was in the works on and off for many years. With motivation from her wonderful and talented friends and family, Fiona overcame the creative blocks that she experienced during some of the hardest years of her life and found the love for being creative once again.

With an increasingly apathetic lifestyle, more and more eye-rolling and sarcasm occurred (something her father did not appreciate), she thought it was a good representation of herself so she slapped her lifeless eyes and unfazed moods onto a brand. After showing him what she came up with, his unimpressed reaction was the thing that set this whole project into motion.

Currently based in Edmonton, Alberta.
